We will miss seeing all of you in the classroom, but we hope to get to see each other here on our website! Welcome to Kindergarten in G13! I look forward to working with all of you this year as we learn and grow together! This is my second year at Fricano Primary but this is my 11th year teaching.

Hello Families,

Welcome To Mrs. Bryan's Learning Cafe Home Page

Yesterday the winners of the John Newbery Medal and Randolph Caldecott Medals were announced for excellence in children’s literature. The Newbery winner is, “The Girl Who Drank the Moon” by Kelly Barnhill. Honors were also given to, “Wolf Hollow” by Lauren Wolk. Both of these books are available in the recent Scholastic Book order.

The Caldecott winner was, “Radiant Child: The Story of Young Artist Jean- Michel Basquiat”. Honors were given in many different categories to the book, “Freedom Over Me: Eleven Slaves, Their Dreams Brought to Life” by Ashley Bryan.

The attached link has a list of past winners. These might be interesting choices for home reading!

Happy Page Turning!
